Beclomethasone Dipropionate, Neomycin Sulphate and Clotrimazole Cream come with the branding “BECLOAST-NC” and are useful in curing fungal and bacterial infections of the skin. It cures skin inflammation resulting from allergies or irritants, eczema (inflamed, itchy, cracked and rough patches on the skin), psoriasis (overproduction of skin cells to form bumpy/uneven red patches covered with white scales), insect stings and bites. Bacterial infection occurs when harmful bacteria grow and spread within the body. Fungal infection arises when a fungus infects and infects the skin tissue.
Beclomethasone Dipropionate, Neomycin Sulphate and Clotrimazole Cream consists of three drugs: Clotrimazole, Neomycin and Beclomethasone dipropionate. Clotrimazole inhibits fungal growth by inducing damage and leakage to the fungal cell membrane. Neomycin inhibits the synthesis of necessary proteins needed by bacteria to perform important functions and possesses broad-spectrum activity against aerobic gram-positive as well as gram-negative bacteria. Beclomethasone dipropionate is a corticosteroid and inhibits prostaglandin’s synthesis (chemical messengers) that cause the infected area to become red, inflamed and itching.
