Astocim Ointment used to treat skin infections such as jock itch, ringworm, foot, and other infections of the fungal skin (candidiasis). This drug is also used to treat a skin condition called pityriasis (tinea versicolor), a fungal infection that tends to cause the skin of the neck, chest, arms, or legs to be lightened or darkened. Miconazole based Astocim ointment is an antifungal azole that works by avoiding fungal growth.
